In this course, you'll learn the basics of handling a boat – from understanding how it works to practicing different maneuvers: mooring to buoys, anchoring, man overboard, turning and coming alongside

You'll also get familiar with the equipment you need on board, how to handle different weather conditions safely, VHF Radio and emergency communications, day shapes and colors, rope work, knots and the laws you need to follow on the water.

Taught by official Marine Merchant certified companies, boats and instructors.

• Handle Power/Sailing Boats & Jetskis up to 6 meters.

• Maximum distance of 2 nautical miles form Marina, Port or safe harbour.

• Daytime sailing only.

• No horsepower limitation.

Requirements

To be 16 years or over (if under 18 provide written parental authorization - request a template)

• Passport (all nationalities) or N.I.E. (Foreign Identity Nº) document.

• Practical and theoretical course on safety and navigation (6 hours)

• Payment.

• Official medical test to certify you are fit to sail (see list of Centers below - CRC´s)
